HUNGARIAN CITIZENSHIP SERVICES  

Citizenship applications for Hungarians in Australia

If you live in Australia, I can assist by assessing your situation, translating your documents into Hungarian, completing the necessary forms, and putting together your application. Once the application is ready for submission, applicants will be required to make an appointment and then submit their application in person at a Hungarian Consulate in Australia (Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne). Passport applications are made electronically. I can assist with the completion of your forms which are prerequisites for lodging a passport application but I have no role in the passport application and do not charge fees relating directly to the passport application. GENERAL INFORMATION Most of my clients wish to obtain a Hungarian passport and/or citizenship certificate. Please note there are two distinct processes related to such applications. Our eligible clients usually follow one of two pathways: If you can prove that you are currently a Hungarian citizen (as at least one of your parents was a Hungarian citizen at the time of your birth), you may apply for a Hungarian passport. A citizenship check is part of the process for those who cannot present documentary evidence of their current Hungarian citizenship. I offer assistance with Hungarian citizenship verfication applications (with or without submitting a simultaneous application for a Hungarian passport). Those Hungarians who do not have Hungarian citizenship (e.g. because they were born outside the current borders of Hungary) but speak Hungarian may meet the elibigility criteria for applying for Hungarian citizenship under the simplified repatriaton/naturalisation process. In that process, they must prove their Hungarian ancestry. They will not be able to apply for a Hungarian passport until they are granted citizenship. CITIZENSHIP SERVICES If you choose to engage my assistance, I can help you with either of the above processes after you make initial contact with the Hungarian Embassy or another Hungarian consular mission in Australia. Based on that information you can decide whether or not you wish to order one or more of our paid services (assessing your chances on the basis of your available documents, translations, completion and submission of application forms). After making your initial payment, you may send me scanned documents and all the data necessary for the completion of the forms by email. I will complete your forms electronically and send them to you shortly after receiving your data. Please note I run a commercial service and cannot provide free eligibility assessments or advice by phone, email or through any other channel. I strongly recommend that you talk to a Hungarian consular mission about your case before contacting me. Telephone and online appointments attract a separate fee if the appointment takes place before the first service fee instalment is paid. Preferred payment method: bank transfer. LANGUAGE SERVICES I prepare NAATI stamped, certified translations of any English language documents that are required to be included in your application as supporting evidence.
